EASTER MOON

Full moon of April spring,
Warm, golden white —
Rising to lead God's children
Out of their bondage.
Full moon of melting snows,
Warming a dark sky with light;
Come to drive this coldness
From our hearts, and
From this country —
Long lain fallow in fear.
